Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Dear all

I've just bought a DTxpress III and of course i blew the budget..I 
was told that i may be able to connect PC speakers with subwoofer to 
the output in the interim before i save up enough to buy an amp.

can anyone confirm this?
