Gilligan, I am also undecided between a keyboard amp and studio monitors. I like the keyboard amp in the since of the onboard EQ and the inputs, including the mic input. I like studio monitors because they are small and versitile, yet provide great power. An example is the Behringer Truth monitors as they have over 100 watts powering LF and HF drivers. The fact that there are two versus one, the sound can reach greater volumes. Only problem with the small studio monitors is I do not know how they are on low-end, as in the bass drum. Has anyone seen/heard an edrum on studio monitors? Cause if they can produce some sort of punchy low-end on the base drum, then I think I will end up going with studio monitors over the keyboard amp. I am still not sure at these stages and am lacking on time to go to the music shop and "hunt" as you could call it. Maybe I can make it on thursday, supposed to rain here so practice should be cancelled. Anyways, g/l and let me know what you find out and vice versa. -Zack-
