Yahoo! Groups Sponsoren taking drum lessons for 3 years now and
we picked up a DTXpress I last summer. It has been great listening to the
clicking from his room as he plays with headphones. Well we made a serious
shift today and picked up a used Peavy KB/A 100 amplifier. This group
helped in the selection process as I know almost nothing about music or
druming although I know a bit about electronics. I want to thank the group
for being willing to respond to my dumb questions. The fellow we bought it
from had quite an electronic setup with a DTXpress to test the amp with
(and a Roland keyboard and lots of other electronic mixers and other gear).
My kid is grinning like a 5 year old riding on a fire truck. This amp
sounds really good with the drums. I told him to keep the volume to level 2
and I am sure he will do that when anyone is home. Now he can start playing
with friends. He is making a lot of adjustments as the speaker sound is
different from the headphone sound. Just generally a good day here I
thought I would share with you drum folks.

Happy Dad
