It probably wouldn't be a bad idea at all for manufacturers who made 
complete kits (that is, pads and modules) to package a brief video 
that discussed some of the more important settings and options. After 
all, John Deere includes them with its tractors, and they cost about 
as much as an e-drum kit.

I take it that you haven't had any luck getting the DTX video. I 
suppose you could submit a want ad to Drummer's Web or Harmony 
Central.
