Nick, I had the same thought - and discovered that the power supply in my 10 yr old daughter's Yamaha keyboard is the same as the Dtxpress - you can get them from Argos I think much more cheaply than from Yamaha. Reassuringly I've never had a failure in 4 years - and the Dtxpress Mk1 itself has never been any bother either. However the power supply to my daughter's keyboard did fail and we replaced it with one from Argos.
