Re: DTXpress II or III

2004-03-22 by wzk283

Thanks emf thats made me think a bit. IS the module on the IIISTD
any different for the II, or is it just the softer pads, grey rack
and coded leads. Or and maybe the resale value (not that I would
every sell it of course)

Let me correct the post for those who didn't understand it as I've
been on the beer :)

I'm waiting to but a DTXPress III Standard which is due in the UK in
the next month. It will probably around sell for around £799 (without
bass pedal) via mail order, however I went into the local drum (and
yamaha) shop today and they had a DTXPress II in stock for £799. I
stated I was looking for a III so they offered to include some extras
in the price

For £799

DTXPress II Kit
Throne
Premier Bass Pedal (£69 normaly, 6000 series I think)
Drum Sticks
Next day home delivery and setup
1 Drum lesson
Local shop close if there are any problems etc.

Sounds like a good? or is it worth waiting for the III and paying
extra.

What are the main differences?
