I've remembered where I heard it.  It's in the video from NAMM at 
Harmony Central ( http://tinyurl.com/23kxp ) for the DTXPressIIISP.  
The demonstrator mentions it from 2:07 in.

"We introduced a keyboard a little while back called the Motif that 
had some amazing drum sounds in it and people said 'hey, why not 
take some of your Motif drum sounds and give them to the drummers' 
and that's exactly what we've done.  We took some Motif cymbal 
sounds, placed them into this so with our upgraded cymbal pads and 
the Motif cymbal sounds you get some great sound quality."
