That had occurred to me but I'm actually pretty happy with the drum 
sounds on the II but then I haven't heard them on the III yet so who 
knows!

Using the II purely as a trigger to MIDI device does seem a little 
bit of a waste though.  Maybe kick and snare on the II panned hard 
left and right so they effectively have their own outputs.
