I've checked out the site many times before, and in fact, I've made a couple home made Remo practice pad/E-drum conversions and they work well. I want to do something similar to Judes' conversion. I am running on assumption at this point, and haven't really heard, but are the ddrum triggers fairly reliable triggers to use with the dtx2 brains? I think that, above all else, is my biggest concern. Brett, I had heard some time ago--in the DTXpressI days--that the ddrum triggers were problematical with the Yamaha module. Recently, however, someone told me that the redshot series appears to have no trouble with the DTXpressII module. I can't vouch for the higher-end version. In Clavia's own words: "ddrum Triggers are designed to work with ddrumAT, ddrum3 and ddrum4 sound modules. They may also work with other brands, but the functionality cannot be guaranteed. Some drum modules have problems detecting the trig signal from ddrum Triggers. If you want to try anyway, it important to know that Pin 2 is hot and Pin 1 is shield on the ddrum Triggers. Some microphone cables have Pin 3 hot and some drum modules may be designed according to this." Ed
