Also, if you want two hihat pads (standard on the left, remote on the right) you can plug two pads into zone 8. If the pads you use are single zone pads, like the TP65 (or PCY65) for both hats then you will just need a mono Y splitter cable to plug both pads into zone 8. If you use stereo pads, like the TP65s/TP80S/PCY65s for both hats then you need a stereo splitter cable. One that combines two stereo inputs to one stereo input and not the usual Y-insert splitter cable that takes two mono inputs to a single stereo input. Then the one HH65 you have will control both hihat pads, but you will get the same sound from both hihat pads.
