That is interesting that Yamaha support said specifically that the "ROM" chip fixed the problem. Which makes me wonder if the new chips I have, include the "fix" or if it is another updated chip. The "fix" might be as simple as changing the default settings for rejection, as oppose to a real recalibration/program coding change. Luckily, I never encountered this problem, because I have never used the factory default settings to begin with.
