Hi Simon, Try Electromusic in Doncaster - well worth the trip anyway cos its a great music shop (er shop is a poor description!!!) The DTXpress is great at home and works well for live work. I sound crew for Parallel or 90 Degrees and one live gig at a small pub venue went amazingly well - certainly a very full range sound, lots of bottom end - just through a couple of Peavey 500MXT monitors driven with a Yamaha P4500 amp (via a desk). At home you will need a hi-fi amp or similar and phones to get a decent sound level because Yamaha keep the DTX phones output level quite low. It also work OK with Cubase VST for recording etc... With Mirror Image I use the DTXpress recorded or live through a largish PA - sounds great! Unfortunately, I think any midi click generated from the DTX via another midi device will be heard via the PA.
