Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hello all once again,


right have been lookin around (as some of u already know) for this 
mystery second module. have found an old dtx pro v2.0 and am 
currently haggling with the previous owner over the final price. 
whatever we agree on will be quite reasonable however i was wondering 
if anybody here knows anything about the sounds it has to offer. as i 
currently own and am using a dtxpress I i thought that perhaps the 
sounds might be the same?! i haven't really been able to find anybody 
who has owned both, or who has made a direct comparison. i've read a 
few old reviews, and people seem pretty happy with the onboard 
sounds, however if they are the same or too similar then i think i 
might be a bit gutted, dont wanna make that mistake. if anybody here 
has any experience with both of these modules could u please just 
briefly mention what u thought about the sounds, not so much the 
quality of them, but whether they are similar, identical, different 
etc...?

also another slight concern was how receptive the trigger inputs 
were, as it is quite an old piece of kit. i find the triggering on 
the dtxpress I to be just fine (with a bit of tweaking). if anybody 
has been fortunate enough to use both does the dtx pro trigger as 
well as the dtxpress I, or is there a considerable difference? any 
other comments regarding the dtx pro v.2 brain would also be very 
much appreciated.
