Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Just got a new DTXpress II (after lurking here for almost half a 
year), and love it.  Thanks to all who have shared their experience, 
as it has been very helpful!

I can report on one thing that has come up on the past, the ROM 
chip.  Don't know exactly when the box was built (didn't see an 
inspeciton sticker or anything hinting at a date other than the 
marking "JAN" on the sticker with the serial number on the bottom of 
the brain), but it has the old ROM chip (the numbers match those 
reported by OGD).  

Did the factory reset, and all of the 'getting started' tweaking and 
am quite pleased with the purchase...
