Since my last photos, I've had another re-arrange [sigh] partially to
do exactly that - get it away from the ride position. In the end, I
settled (for now - another [sigh]) with it below the rack toms,
mounted on a spare length of rack from a TPCL80. I can just get at
the panel between snare and toms. I like it there. Will post updated
photos on my site tonight so you can get an idea.

This allowed me to mount my "spare" PCY65 as a ride in
the "traditional" position, split into the same input as my PCY80S
crash/ride, which I then moved up and out to a more normal position
for a crash. So I now just crash the edge on that, and ride on
the ... er ... ride.

I'm coming to the conclusion that e-drums are not just musical
entertainment, they're also an adult's version of tinker-toys.
