Will the HH65 Hi-Hat controller work with Roland drums?

Hi,

I'm selling an extra hi-hat controller (hh-65) for my DTXpress and I 
was asked if it will work properly with Roland drums.  I thought so 
but don't have any experience trying.  Has anyone done this?
