First, thanks to all who are replying to the Special Notice. We're not going to be able to thank everyone personally. As I wrote before, the replies were supposed to go to a dedicated email address behind the scenes, but Yahoo saw fit to broadcast them to the whole membership. On reflection, that's not a bad thing, but we probably won't be able to comment on all of them. If, however, they contain a question or a positive suggestion, we'll try to address it explicitly. The archives function as the groups FAQ, though they can seem endlessly abundant, as well as redundant. OGD came up with the idea of creating a basic "Help" file--probably to be located at our sister site of DTXpressions--containing tips for new owners (the factory reset, the stereo cable for the hi hat controller, etc.). Because we don't want to stifle stimulating discussion or discovery, we will keep it simple. Lively conversation and exploration of the archives are great ways to become acquainted with the DTXpress' features, as well as some of the other products, services, and strategies that attach to it. The "Files" and "Links" sections of this site already contain helpful material associated with the DTXpress, if not dedicated to it, from various members. The original DTXpressions, which housed techniques and tricks distilled from the experiments of the group's founders, still carries a link, though Vern's ancillary locale of the same name has them as well. We'll add more as we continue to evolve. Thanks to all for the kind words. When these formal issues are resolved, the moderators will be able to slink back into the shadows where they belong. Bear with us; our ugly mugs will get out of the way soon. Ed
