Rolf Baehr, who had been unknowingly assigned to the moderator role a 
long time ago by the group's founder resurfaced (thanks mainly to 
Zilla) to turn it over to the current active membership. He appointed 
me, and I quickly appointed OldGuyDrummer and Vern to the positions 
because of their know-how, dedication, and good will. Now we can 
police the site, keeping it free from spam and porn and generally 
oiling the mechanics as necessary. We aren't sure at this point 
whether to restrict access to protect ourselves from possible bad 
posts and members or simply to monitor the posts of newbies before 
releasing them to the membership until we're sure they're not 
spammers in sheep's clothing. That's the long and short of it for 
now. Stay with us. From now on, we're free to do what we do best, 
whatever that is.
