Already tried it with my minidisk recorder when the band didn't have a bass player/keyboard player - but found it awful. I soon got tired of adjusting my tempo/speeding up/slowing down to match the music on the minidisc. All the natural expression and freedom in my playing vanished. I did not feel comfortable.
