Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

OK people, I am just about to take the plunge and buy a DTXpress 
II...  However, as I am in Australia where prices are crazy, I plan 
to buy from someone like Musicians Friend in the US and have it 
shipped here by my family in the US.  Ideally, in order to escape 
customs charges, I would love to have it removed from the box (i.e 
looks second hand) and packaged in a suitcase.  Does anybody have 
any real world experience with trying to fit this whole kit into a 
suitcase?  Also, I need to know weight of the kit to work out the 
most economical shipping method.  Any help you can offer?
