If I'm right, you can only add two, not three, further pads to the standard DTXpress2 kit. As standard, you have two mono inputs to play with on 9/10. The auxiliary pad input on your KP65 kick pad can only be used if you move the kick pad from its standard input (1) to 9/10. What I have done (am in the process of doing) is this: - Buy a TP80S to use as a hi-hat pad, and move the mono TP65 to 9 as a tom - Move the mono PCY65 from 6 to 10 as it doesn't need a stereo input - Buy a PCY80S stereo cymbal, and use it on 6 To add more than two pads, you will need either another brain or an external trigger-to-MIDI device which you can plug into the DTXpress2 via the MIDI port on the back.
