I'm
not sure what a TP pad is, but if it will help, I want one. I've found the Remo
pad is actually gentler than the hard rubber block on my old kick
tower.
I have
been trying the new Zildian energy absorbing sticks this week, but I can't
really report any relief from them. I'm cursed with a 20-year-old mentality in a
50-year-old body. Cripes

Have you been using a TP pad for your ride? For some people
(depending on their technique and the force of their hits), even
using them as drums can wreak havoc with their joints and muscles.
With all due respect to your ingenuity, if you start noticing any
numbness or sensitivity in your foot from beating on that hard Remo
pracice kick, you'll have to soften that blow, too. Or have you
place a mouse pad over it?
