I can believe 8 weeks for delivery from Yamaha in Europe, as that's 
what I've been hearing in the UK. My "local" dealer, Drumwright, 
waited an age and then got six in... and I just managed to nip in 
(by phone) and put a deposit on one before they all went.

Have you tried www.thomann.de? They have good prices (lower than I 
paid, even with delivery), but I couldn't get a firm answer from 
them on their stock levels, so I didn't bother.
