Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi guys,

Im a newbie here, ive had by kit for a month now and i'm down with a 
problem already. I cant adjust the volume of the Aux or the click 
from the brain. Everytime if i play along with the presets song the 
volume seems to be too loud and drowning my kit . My Shift button on 
the panel dont seem to work. i can only adjust the volume of the 
snare and the kick from the panel button.. i guess i must have done 
something wrong or just plain dumb.. 
Also I seem to have lost the choking effect on my crash cymbals.
Is there anything in the settings that i might have accidentally 
turned off..
anyone care to help me out? Thanks in advance
