Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hello all.  I just bought a DTXpress on Ebay.  Any ideas where I can 
get a manual?  I have the basics pretty much figured out, but I know 
I'm missing stuff.

Also, by messing with the settings I somehow made the crash so 
sensitive it crashes whenever I hit the other pads, does this sound 
possible?

Finally, can I put a mesh head on an 18" bass drum and trigger it? I 
don't really like the Yamaha bass pad, and think the 18" would look 
cool (also I want to use a double pedal).

I'm new to the edrums world and have been hacking through the 
previous posts but thought you all could give me some insight to my 
most immediate concerns.
