Hi UNH, Walt might have something to say about that. But Peter Hart wrote that review quite a while ago. It's no secret that at least some of Hart's equipment doesn't mate well with Yamaha, which might have something to do with the review. By the way, Ed Shaughnessy is truly amazing--one of the serious pioneer double bassists. He was the drummer for the Tonight Show during the Johnny Carson era.
