All very good ideas for sound insulation. However I have been informed that no more drumming will be tolerated. And at $100.00 per infraction, I cant afford to continue playing even if I could cut the noise down 75%. There was a previous post that put it best "You just cant please some people." She gets off on making me stop playing, its like a power trip. I could have my case heard by the board, however it is comprised of her and her 3 other jobless old ladies. Resistance is futile! They are the type that wants to ban everything including fun itself. Just like Burger Mister Mister Burger. Flat out....Its time for me to go, the drums just pushed the date forward a little. I have called my realitor and will seek a peaceful solution for us both. I am selling my piece of s%#t condo with attached walls. I will buy a place with a garage next and I wont be attached to my neighbor so I wont have to worry about it. So for all of you for whom its not too late, I urge you to follow some of these methods for sound insulation. It will really save you with your neighbors when it comes to drumming. --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, Jade <jadiebooshkie@y...> wrote: > I read a while back on vdrums.com, some guy had the > same experience, and he bought a heavy duty foam to > set under his drums, I think he even built a small > riser and lined it w/styrofoam insulating pieces. > Here's an email to this group i have sent, with your > name from vdrums.com...hope it makes it to this forum > Jade > --- dawsonmcshane <dawsonmcshane@h...> wrote: > > After owning an accoustic drum set I couldnt play, > > because I own a > > small condo, I purchased my DTXpress II on january > > 28,2003.
