An excellent idea, although one I have thought about before. You will see, from my earlier posts, that I was an advocate of the "send & receive" method of exchanging user kits - although my requests for some were largely ignored. No worries, though - it's more fun to make your own than play other people's. The sysex files can be viewed with any decent Hex editor (as I'm sure you already know) but editing them or using software to *create* them is more tricky. I don't know of anything out there (yet) that'll do this, but it would be a whole lot easier than fiddling with those little buttons. The problem is knowing how to deal with all those checksums - get it wrong and the kit won't load, even the whole DTXpress can freeze up. Is there any software wiz out there who can "rustle up" a nice little editing package? Maybe someone can rise to the challenge?? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
