Quick and dirty double-kick trick: Make the hi-hat pedal close sound as a kick and then set the default hi-hat sound to a closed hat w/a velocity cross-fade so a harder strike makes an open hat sound. I know this has many drawbacks, but the best part is the total cost is $0.00 and you can practice double kick licks!! ;) Vern -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you?
