Mac access to Downloads ?

2000-03-13 by Mark T. Owen

I see from reading past posts that there are some other Mac
users in the discussion group. Do we have access to the
Downloads ? Can we contribute our user kits ? Is there a
DTXchange equivalent for Macintosh ?

I just passed along this group and site to the music store I
bought my DTXpress from. They were unaware of such a group
and most appreciative...anxious to learn more about this
very kool kit. They have sold quite a few and currently have
15 on back-order ! (Tom Lee Music, Vancouver BC, Canada.)
Very helpful guys, but like all of us, are learning about
the DTXpress as we go along.

I'm working through my Steely Dan boxset (4 cd's) playing
along with Purdie, Gadd, Marrotta... Interesting project
trying to match grooves (&drum sounds, to some degree) with
these guys. The production values are so clean and clear
that it makes it easier to pick out the drum parts. Now the
chops.... that's another story :^)

Topic: What are your favorite practice CD's, mp3's etc.??
Here's one for ya: Maceo Parker, "Funk Overload" minimalist
funk grooves that just cook!!
