1st. Make sure hat you go through the midi setup in the DTXpress manual. It is short and easy. 2nd Did you put the switch on the back of the DTXpress module to midi? If not do so. 3rd Make sure the MIDI OUT on the DTX module is connected to the MIDI IN on the computer/midi module. And that the MIDI IN on the DTX module is connected to the MIDI OUT on the computer/midi module. 4th In Cakewalk do the following: a) make sure you have the DTX assigned to the midi port and channel(s) that you intend to assign during record/playback. This is done from one of the menus at the top (can't remember which) If you understandhow cakewalk works, you should be able to get things to work at this point.
