dual zone snare...

2002-07-23 by majestic144

Ok, im new to the group, and have a question.. i read post #1597, and
got my first question answered. now, i have a dilema...

I originally upgraded my dtxpress with 2 pintech cymbals, i used a
stereo adapter and 2 mono plugs to put them into input 9/10, and they
worked like a champ... woohoo! :-) so, i had the regular 5 piece
set, with a total of 4 cymbals...

Seeing as the pintech cymbals have done me well, and i like their
lifetime warranty, I just bought the CC102-ST dual zone concertcast
snare, so I can have the rimshot without switching between sets while
I am playing (it gets annoying)...

After messing with the kit for an hour and getting frustrated because
the pad didn't work, I got on here and found post #1597, which
answered my question...

So, I guess I have to put the dual zone snare into inputs 9/10...
I can live with that...

So, what do I do with the 2 pintech cymbals I had there? Can I still
use them? Or would I have to get another DTXPress module? Also, the
original single zone snare pad, I was going to use it as a 4th tom,
but not enough inputs, unless I can use a stereo Y adapter to hook it
into another input...

Please help! :-) What do I do???
