Re: Triggering acoustic drums

2002-03-22 by hairytrigger

In Modern Drummer magazine I have seen a few drummers who trigger,
usually with Ddrum triggers. If you watch David Letterman, You'll see
Anton Figg triggers with Ddrum Triggers. That's how I came to know
them.I triggered with Ddrum triggers and a DM5 for four years with
excellent results. Once you get the parameters set, they are awesome!

bass drum was the only drum that worked well enough on a consistent
basis, but there weren't many triggers on the market back then. I'm
hoping things are much more advanced now.

drummers who trigger electronic drums from an acoustic set for live
playing.
