Re: personal H.phone amp

2002-01-25 by wgardus

After seeing several other posts, I realized that I had not
properly stated my concerns with the sound of the DTXpress when
using headphones.

I do not have a problem with volume or clarity of sound through my
headphones, until I try to play with anything through the AUX in
connection. With that added load, the quality (and volume to a
degree) seem to get unacceptable, at least to me. Using a mixer with
the DTXpress coming in on one channel, and the other program source
(same ones I tried directly through AUX IN) through another channel,
and with the same headphones I had previously connected to the
DTXpress now connected to the mixer's headphone out, my headphone
sound is now wonderful, whether playing along with an outside source,
or without. Now, isn't that a lovely a run-on sentence?
