Emanuele,

All dual zone inputs are chokable on the DTXpress III (something it doesn't seem to mention in the manual).  You need to make sure you buy a dual zone cymbal (PCY65S for example).  You cannot use inputs 9/10 for dual zone.  However, if you have a single zone cymbal you could move that to 9/10 to free up a dual zone input.
