As I understand it, the tom inputs on the DTXpress IV are NOT stereo,
but twin mono inputs.  That is why putting a TP65S into it will only
give you one sound, not two.  The same will apply to the TP100/120 -
you will still only get one sound.  If you want to use inputs
9/10/11/12 you need Y splitters and two mono pads for each input.  You
could use stereo pads on the inputs, but you will only get one sound
from each pad.  So, you could keep your 3 TP65S pads and buy three or
four more (TP65 non-S would do) or buy TP100 pads, whichever you
prefer.  It all comes down to how many toms you want (or other pads as
you could always use cymbals instead of toms).
