I can do that too. I have a glass lampshade in my room and I'm amazed
it's still in one piece.

Where do people store their emergency spare sticks in case of
live-play droppage? I've removed the black plastic ends to the two
aluminium poles that 'embrace' you (and hold the snare on the left and
the 'floor' tom on the right) and I put a spare stick inside each,
protruding about 5 inches. If I drop a stick I can pick another
without losing the beat. I stop them rattling and moving with a glob
of Blu Tak.

Any advance on that idea, besides being skilled enough not to drop the
sticks in the first place?
