$100-150 will be tough. I purchased a Behringer KX1200 for $199.00 and it's alright but it does distort above moderate volume levels. Are you wanting speakers for practice? You might want to start with a good set of headphones and save up for an amp. I've heard the Peavey KB-4s do well with E-drums. I would also like to hear the Roland PM-10...... http://shop.drumbalaya.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.69/it.A/id.2503/.f JoeMcc >From: "Celtic Warrior" <o_coolaun@...> >Reply-To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com >To: DTXpress@yahoogroups.com >Subject: [DTXpress] Speakers for the DTXpressIII special >Date: Wed, 18 May 2005 14:20:35 -0000 > >Hi People, > >Am due to take delivery of my new kit next week - I haven't ordered any >speakers yet - > >Quick questions: > >Can I just plug into a standard amp from the back of the module > >With a small budget what would be a good buy for speakers around the >$100 - $150 mark. > >Txs, > > >
