RE: Spam:RE: Spam:[DTXpress] Mesh-head pads that WILL give the dual-trigger capability?

2005-05-16 by Damon, Rob

I am not aware of any dual-zone mesh heads that will give you both zones
on inputs 1-8. With Keith's magic box you can plug a dual peizo pad
into inputs 1-8, but it gets a little be tricky in balancing between the
two trigger inputs. And the Magic box is not on the "market" yet.

Yes, but are there any mesh-head pads out there (i.e. Pintech, Roland,
Hart, etc.) that support the DTXpress III Inputs 1 - 8 ?

Only inputs 9/10 are dual-trigger inputs. Inputs 1-8 are stereo
inputs that are looking for a piezo and a ribbon rim switch (FSR).

Are there any Mesh-head pads that WILL give the dual-trigger
capability
on the DTXPRESS III tom inputs ?

I've heard that DTXpress III requires the equivalent of an FSR
trigger
strip for the rim and no mesh pad in existence has that
(presently).

	Thanks.
