Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey great to see this group!!  

I have been trying to fina way to get my DTXpress III to work with 
either BFD or Battery (prefer BFD).

I downloaded the excel sheet with the note name/number mappings but I 
am getting lots of issues (some pads don't sound, some do but with no 
consistancy).

Can someone point me in the right direction?  Do I need to setup drum 
maps (Cubase SX 2.2.0.35)?

Just confused and looking for some pointers :-)
