Hi Rick,

there are no sonic differences between MEK and desktop Evolver.
Only difference is that the UI is much more fun and that the keys and wheels 
just feel sexy ;)

Coming from the piano I always was prejudiced againgst 3 octave keyboards, 
but with the MEK I found that it's a lot of fun. Somehow you play different 
than on a large keyboard, you tend to use the wheels and aftertouch more 
often.

I am rather sad that I had to send the MEK back yesterday. Hope that it will 
be in production soon.

So then my next question would naturally be...How do you get 
those "fat" sounds coming out of the Evo? You had a very moogy vibe 
going with that track, but more modern...very nice
