1. I'd like to jump in and say hello.  I just received my Evolver 
#112 this morning and have been recording with it all day (it's been 
on for 8 straight hours.)
 
2. So, why the long-winded trouble about a compare feature?  Man, 
there're 3 banks of 128 patches! - just save one to another spot 
and "compare" - or maybe you could use bank 3 as a "temp" bank.

3. Regarding the more useful mentioned features - I like the idea 
of "waveshape" as a mod dest. (although I think that it would be a 
bit limited by what "shape" is set and its "neighboring" shapes that 
would be triggered) and I agree that a sine-wave LFO would be nice - 
mainly for "smooth-er" transitions of cutoff, pitch, and that sort of 
thing.  

3.1. But then again, how nice it is to buy something and then talk 
about extra features that it should have and expect to get them for 
free!  Bug fixes are one thing, but extra features...ok.
I guess I haven't had my Evolver long enough to realize that its not 
already the most bad-ass synth/seq I've ever used or heard!

4. I can't wait until some nice-smart-guy/gal comes along with a 
waveshape editor for the Evolver.

As far as the features go, I personally never meant to suggest that I
wasn't happy with what I got as I am very happy and impressed with the
Evolver, however it was brought up that if there are things you wish for
then say so, so I mentioned a few things that would be "nice" to have.
Doesn't mean I expect to get anything for free, as I believe I got what
I paid for already in the Evolver. If their were never any updates at
this point I would still be happy as the Evolver I received works as
advertised. Although if free updates do come along I will not complain
:)
