No I have that Phaser as an Effect hanging on the mixingdesk. And I use two dedicated channels on the mixer to achieve the Jarre-trick (see the other mail). I use the smallstone a lot, not always very obvious, but it can bring just that little more organic sound into a mix. In this particular case I did NOT use it though :-)

One more question before I go to bed, (just got off of work and it is 3:30am here but I only have 2 more days of work and then I'm off for 7 days of music making, yay) any other cool tricks like this you have up your sleeve you'd be willing to share ?
Well, as far as using delays concerned: NEVER sync delays to midi clock. I always make delay-settings with my ears, and they always end up JUST a little different from the midiclock. It brings way more liveness in a sound when the delays drift a little away from the tempo.
