�just to clarify a bit, use SysExLib to send the update file directly to your devo, no need to go thru a DAW at all.
SysExLib is also a great tool to store and manage your devo patches (or any piece of midi hardware for that matter).

btw, two other great mac tools i can't live without:
MidiMonitor (just displays midi streams, great for troubleshooting)

and MidiPipe (very similar to MidiOx/Yoke on PC, tweak midi streams realtime, sooooo useful!)
