No arguments. Yes, much of comparing one machine to another is subjective. No, the chart doesn't cover every last little aspect of the Minimoog Voyager and/or the Evolver. The chart is just a starting point. That said, I still think that the chart is a valid comparison of some of the "big picture" features. Also, I'm certainly not trying to say that one machine is "better" than the other. Sorry if anyone took this comparison chart the wrong way, but I thought I'd made these points clear in my original post. Additional comments are in the forum post. Seems highly subjective. Objectively there there are issues as well. In filter for example, no mention is made of the ability of the moog to have its two filters run parellel OR serial from the same set of oscillators, something that the Evolver fails in on both counts. So who is to say one way is "better." I like comparisons though. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: ski_ex5tech <ex5tech@e...> > To: DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2003 1:57 AM > Subject: [Evolver] Evolver vs. Minimoog Voyager > > > > Evolver vs. Minimoog Voyager > > A basic features comparison chart, link below: > > http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? > ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000019 > > (If your email program, or the Yahoo group has split the link above, > you may need to copy/paste it into the address bar of your browser.) > > The Evolver shows well! > > > Ski > www.ex5tech.com > EX5Tech Evolver forum: > http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=23 > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > DSI_Evolver-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
