I agree. I'd love to see a mono version of the P'08 manufactured with
actual pots instead of the rotary encoders.

I love my desktop Evolver. I'll never get rid of it. But real pots
would make it even better.

Not everyone will agree though. Some people don't like the jump in
parameter values that comes with saving a patch on a synth with real
pots. If you're a real-time knob tweaker, you'll appreciate pots. And
I mean "on the fly", like you were talking about with the ENV1
parameter. But if you're more the type of person who programs patches
and then plays them without live tweaking, the rotary encoders are better.
