Wow. I knew it. Hmmm. In the K4/5 review the
filter's were mentioned as "different" than the SNII but not implied to be
better either way. I some comments were made regarding the newer liquid audio or
whatnot of the K4. Arrgh! And the K4 is nice and shorter too . . .

It's a very tough question. On the one hand you have the SN2 with its
superb arpeggiators, more complex filter modes, extended polyphony,
more parts, less friendly UI (IMHO), FM etc., comb filters (effects
section)...
All this set against the simpler KS4/5 with only 4 parts, 16notes
polyphony, better UI, less flexible arpeggiators BUT sounding
"better"...
I really couldn't balance the SN2 features against the KS4 sound....
only your own needs and ears can do that for you.
