Have you checked the "Master Transpose" setting in the Main row?

It also can depend on the frequency that is set in the Oscillators 
themselves. If for example all the oscs are set to C3 for example then 
everything will be higher by 3 octaves. Remember C0 in the Evolver display 
is equivalant to C3 (pitchwise) (i.e. if you give it midi note number 60 it 
will play C3 on a piano scale and if the oscillator(s) on the Evolver are 
set to C0 then you will hear a pitch of C3. If however the Oscillators are 
set themselves to say C2 then a midi note number of 60 will have the evolver 
emit a noted pitched at C5 on the piano scale, and when you give it a CO (in 
Cubase) you will hear a C2 in actuality. The evolver will not respond to a 
midi note lower than CO (note number 36 I think) so the way to make it sound 
low is to make sure that the oscillators are not set too high. (and take 
into consideration the master transpose maybe).

I hope this is correct. I am not in front of my Evolver. Anybody feel free 
to throw in corrections please.
