Not at all...in fact, I'd say the evolver is more multitimbral when 
sequenced internally. Now, it's not truly multitimbral at all, 
because everything shares a common filter, amplifier, LFOs, that kind 
of thing. However, it's very easy to sequence e.g. pitch and level 
for the oscillators, lots of things can be adjusted on a per-osc 
basis, noise level can be sequenced, etc. It is possible to get 
multitimbral sounding patches in this manner, that's actually how I 
usually use my evolver. But don't expect it to work like a Triton or 
something.
