Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hi. Does anyone still hold a copy of the Casio FZ10M sample collection? I was about to try on of the new SD/USB floppy emulators when I noticed I lost the collection on a malfunction hard disk.

Hi Joaquim,

We have setup a group for the storage of these samples. The first 24 samples are here in this group's files area in the FZ-1 folder.

i think thats what happened to my drive , or the heads are misalligned
either way it works but don't read the original disks
but makes and uses its own now

so i have some fz1/10/10m stuff on cd , but where it is right now is
something of a mess (packed safeily away)

Great, thanks! I'm waiting for membership approval on that group.

I'll post some news about my success with using a floppy disk emulator with the CZ-1. Having all the sample collection floppies in a USB flash drive will make using the FZ-1 a lot more attractive to me.

p.s. Someone should hack the FZ-1 firmware to remove the floppy disk drive head stepping timer loops so that saving/loading would work faster
